Lead Developer - Advanced Kohana -

Cape Town — Young, energetic e-commerce platform Mukuru.com looking for advanced PHP developer to drive our growing website.
Must have in-depth knowledge of an MVC PHP Framework, and be able to adapt quickly to Kohana. Kohana experience a big plus but not essential if you are black-belt in another framework.
You should also be comfortable in the LAMP setting, know your way around Linux, MySQL with solid DB skills, architecture and efficient layouts.
Mukuru.com is far more than a website, it is a financial application, driven by exchange rates, stock systems and transactions, and has been freshly redeveloped over the past two years. You should have a sound mathematical and analytical brain, and be loosely comfortable with accounting systems, concepts and approaches.
Front-end skills - jQuery, Ajax plus a solid command of OOP.
The role is available starting asap in Cape Town, we are looking for someone to join us for a long stint, grow with the company, and get stuck into our technology which will entail both web, mobile and SMS spaces over the coming two years.
